ABOUT ME

Born in Boise, Idaho, Jesse got started in life at a very young age. He was born with an appetite for drawing and doodling. Starting with torso-less heads with only hands and feet, he gradually moved on to adding torsos and continued to draw and color with much encouragement from his parents, friends, and 2nd grade teacher. Eventually he learned that you could make simple flip books by drawing incremental movements on the blank backs of business cards. This is how it all started.
Animation has always been a passion because it closely relates to his other passion, which is to make people laugh. He started fooling around in Macromedia Flash 5 in High School, learning how to crudely manipulate objects to create animation. He eventually made his first real attempts at Flash animations with the help of his brother, Mick Jones, as a fellow voice-actor and comedy-inspirer. Jesse spent about 3 years studying animation and graphic design at the Art Institute of Portland. He loves using his talents and knowledge to create art and animation and working with teams of people who share the same geeky interests.
Jesse graduated from the Art Institute of Portland in March 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation.
